The Pilgrimage is a trip to “The Heart of Italy” - a trip to Rome. There is no more fitting place to perform the sacred music that we’ve all been learning than in Rome, the heart of Catholicism. The pilgrimage will give us the opportunity to raise our voices in holy song at Mass in the Vatican; to sing for the Holy Father at his Papal audience; to perform for officials of the Church, as well as, the people of Rome in some of Rome’s finest churches and to experience the mystique of Assisi as we attend Mass at the Basilica of St. Francis where the saint is buried.
