Updates and Announcements

June 4, 2010 - The Music Ministry presented the 2nd Annual Spring Concert at St. Elizabeth Seton. The night was filled with choral and spiritual music - including songs the choir will sing for the Pope.



January 4 - 11, 2010 - Joe Hébert and CCOP Pilgrimage coordinator, Grace Bandong, attended the Familiarization Trip sponsored by Peter's Way Tours.



December 18, 2009 - The Music Ministry treated the CCOP family and friends with their annual Advent/Christmas concert, held at St. Elizabeth Seton. The event has become a Christmas tradition, celebrated by our community.



October 30, 2009 - The Music Ministry sponsored a unique theatrical, music and dance program titled "Tango del Cielo" - presented at the Amador THeater in Pleasanton. The night also featured our very own Joe Hebert on cello. The Children's Choir also participated by singing a song.

October 16, 2009 - The Music Ministry sponsored it's first Golf Tournament. Held at Callippe Preserve at Pleasanton, the day of golf was followed by a dinner event. Golf players and friends were entertained with music by some of the Ministry members. Raffle prizes were also handed out.

June 22, 2009 - Another information night was conducted. Grace Bandong presented the upcoming Pilgrimage's itinerary, followed by a Q & A session.



June 13, 2009 - The CCOP Music Ministry presented it's first ever Spring Concert, "Celebrate Love". The audience were treated with a variety of choral music, solo performances and exhibition of exotic musical instruments.



May 28, 2009 - The CCOP Music Ministry conducted the first "Pilgrimage to Italy" information night at the St. Elizabeth Seton church. Grace Bandong, the pilgrimage's coordinator, presented the tour's information to the attendees. Also in attendance were Joe Hébert, the Director of Music Ministry, and the rest of the tour's organizing committee – Denise Clark, Mary Coon, Irene Suroso, Chef Steve Howard, Don Clark and Jay Jay Umali.

A question and answer session was conducted after Grace presented the itinerary where she also shared her personal experiences on her previous trips.

The night concluded with majority of attendees pledging their commitment to join the Music Ministry on the journey to Italy. A copy of the form and the handout are available in the Downloads section of this site.
